The “OHCare: A Matemática ao serviço dos cuidados domiciliários” project, led by Isabel Gomes, member of the Operations Research Group of NOVA Math, uses mathematics and algorithms to optimize the planning and management of home care services. Through data and a web application, the system helps organize visits, anticipate unforeseen events, and support caregivers, improving both the quality of care and the well-being of professionals.
