Filipa Valdeira is a researcher at NOVA School of Science and Technology, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Milan, and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Her research interests include Machine Learning and Optimization, with an emphasis on Gaussian Processes and applications to Shape Models.
